Cousins Subs Raises $10,000 through its Round Up Campaign

More than 20,000 guests in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin donated in-person or online during the month of October

MILWAUKEE (November 5, 2020) – Cousins Subs® announced today the brand raised $10,000 through its Round Up Campaign, held in-person and online during the month of October, in support of its Make It Better Foundation that addresses the vital community needs of hunger, youth education and health and wellness.  

More than 20,000 guests in Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin rounded up their in-store check to the nearest dollar or added a donation of $0.25, $0.50 or more to their cart when purchasing their meal on the Cousins Subs website or through the Cousins Subs mobile app.

"Supporting our communities, especially during times of uncertainty, is at the heart of who we are as a company,” said Justin McCoy, Vice President of Marketing at Cousins Subs and Vice President of the Make It Better Foundation. "We're so appreciative of the thousands of guests who made a donation to our Make It Better Foundation. Their generosity will enable us to support the missions of more nonprofit organizations that work diligently to make our communities a better place to live and learn.”

 Since the inception of the Make It Better Foundation in 2013, Cousins Subs has made a big difference in its neighborhoods through:  

  • $522,000 in grants to 111 nonprofit organizations 
  • $190,000 in scholarships to 32 student athletes and 12 Cousins Subs crew members 
  • $97,000 to Hunger Task Force to fight food insecurity throughout Wisconsin
